A small group from the DBA squeezed into the chancel of St Saviour's Parish Church, Walmer, and performed a selection of carols and other seasonal music during the Christmas Coffee Morning from 10.00 to 12.00. We enjoyed the excellent acoustics, and a warm welcome (and a mince pie!) from the parishioners. Sunday 20th October Deal and Betteshanger RFC
Kent Under 12s Rugby FestivalDBA played a short programme during the Festival. The plan had been to play outdoors under the cover of a marquee, but due to the high winds we had to retreat into the Clubhouse, leaving most of the potential listeners spectating at the rugby pitches! Nonetheless we played to a small but appreciative audience, actually with rather good acoustics, and the Club will welcome us back for another event in better weather conditions!
